Leisure centre closes temporarily
River Park Leisure Centre, Winchester, was closed this morning (September 15) because of maintenance problems.
In addition to notices on the entry doors apologising to customers for the inconvenience, posters were also placed on the car park ticket machines.
Southern Water staff and CSG operatives were present as they tried to resolve the problem.
Although some sections of the centre opened after lunch it was not anticipated that the swimming pool would be open until this evening.
